Nice place to ski with the kids. Boring short slopes for non-beginners but generally a good atmosphere. The restaurant serves good food. Parking can be a bit of a problem at busy times.
This was the second year we stayed and we didn’t have any issue so far. On our last day me and my two little kids went for breakfast and the owner/or manager started to shout me I either pay for the breakfast for 3 can’t eat there. Kids were being fussy so I had them eating at home cereal because they wouldn’t eat ANYTHING there. This men was so arrogant and yelling me while scaring the kids. I spent so much money already! SO RUDE! Never again!
Well, strange experience I would say. Beside the missing soap in bathrooms, we just could not eat. Food was there for breakfast but at 9:45 we were 'late' to serve. No clear timetable. At lunch, food prepared...no serving at 11:50 until 12:00 sharp. The lady told me it is hard for them, not sure why, but I could not spend my money in the winter season, when they (should) make the most of the income in the year. The other things seem to be fine, food looks good, prices high like in Cluj-Napoca city center.
Almost five kilometres, totally, of very well groomed ski slopes, with various degrees of difficulty in order to satisfy most of the skiers, are offered since December till April, not far from Baia Mare or Sighetu Marmației. Also almost every year there are improvements or new features available. The personnel is well behaved and attentive and their ski school well appreciated. The landscape is gorgeous, as can be seen in pictures. I could say that the beautiful memories are guaranteed.
Was there in March and the snow was still very good The track is very good for learning and beginners, but the so called black one is a bitt of a joke!
A good place for beginners, with decent prices.
If you plan on going during the weekend, get there early as it easily gets crowded
bad quality food, high prices for low standards, dont know about the rooms or other srvices.. but if you want to eat and not be dissapointed, pick some other place, cheers!
Well maintained. Good for learning and practicing if you are a beginner or intermediate. Can be a nice experience for those more advanced, also, even if the slopes themselves are easy. Beautiful landscape.
